Last 90F was August 5th. The first was July 2nd, and there were 10 days total even with the short season. The hottest was 94, so 0% of 90+ days reached 95+
July: 9 August: 1

No where near our last 90°F, avg last day is 11/2 and unlike last year (well below avg), we are going to have an at or above average Oct this year

Our first 90 F was May 26th, and our last will almost certainly be Wednesday (October 2nd) barring some ridiculous heat wave, which doesn't look likely (forecast looks mostly seasonal/slightly below).

Not surprising, usually get 2.5 per year so below average.

Not saying I disagree but that’s a bold statement to make. Phoenix has had 5 months (I think) below normal already this year.

The pattern for this October in most models (especially Euro) is for AZ, So NV and So Cal to be at or above average the next few weeks; and considering last October was like 3°C below avg, which is a huge anomaly for an entire month, the odds are less than 50% of that happening again the next year. The last time we had two back to back below avg same months (i.e. more than 1.5°C anomaly) was 5/10 and 5/11

And would like to add that September would have finished above average if it hadn't been for the anomalous cold in the last 10 days that more than canceled out the warmth from the first 20 days. And September lows finished above avg

I think we’ll be slightly above but it’s way to early to make a definitive call.

I can finally answer this one looks like, our final 90°F this year was October 23rd with a high of 91°F, 10 days earlier than average (Nov 2nd). We did hit 88°F yesterday though and are supposed to hit 88°F again Tuesday

Last 90 F (32.2 C) here this year was October 2nd, which is three weeks later than the average date (Sept 10th). Our first freeze was also two and a half weeks later than normal (16 days; Nov 2nd vs Oct 17th the average), so we just had a really long warm season this year....
