Which of these two climates do you view as warmer than the other? Calculate the average annual mean, and the answer might surprise you as to which one is technically warmer... Average annual mean can be a misleading statistic.

YREKA
Yreka's midsummer average high is akin to Seattle's midsummer annal mean maximum...end of story!
"Annual Mean" is indeed a misleading, fraudulent tactic whereby Botev's take advantage of.

Bro Yrkea maded 44C while Seattle maded less than that. Therefor Seeatlea is colder than Yrkea. Yrkea is warmer than Seattlae,

Yreka has much hotter summers so it would feel warmer.

Yreka. Highs are much warmer and summers are actually hot.

Yreka is warmer due to warmer highs overall.
The mean is generally useful but other factors such as diurnal range and specific temps by month need to be considered. The means are very similar (only 0.4C difference) in this case so other factors take over.

Yreka. To me, "warm" implies an active presence of warmth, which Yreka has plenty of in the summer months, rather than an absence of cold. By my standards Seattle is milder and Yreka is warmer.

Yreka. Highs matter more.
