It seems on C-D, nearly every climate battle with Sydney ends up with it winning. I think its appeal lies in the fact that its quite moderate but exciting at the same time. Heat lovers & Cold haters like it because its mostly warm throughout the year and can get very very hot. Heat haters & Cold lovers don't mind it because its average summer temps are rather low and its winters are still mild. Its not too cloudy nor too sunny, and they get quite a bit of thunderstorm activity every year.

Nope. Itβs boring as fuck and has absolutely nothing for cold lovers and even its summers are weak.

Nope. Boring climate. Doesn't have a "real" (snowy) winter, very monotonous.
Hmm, almost 18C highs in midst of the winter, I could remove the brackets, because it doesn't have a winter at all.
Most real four-season climates would win a battle against Sydney in my book.

Their winters are like our summers (albeit with cooler minimums).

Richmond RAAF is, by leagues, the only decent climate within Shitney's suburbs:

Sydney is great, but it's not the best in the world. San Jose, La Laguna and Cape Town are all better for sure.

Sydney is decent but not great. It is better than a lot of climates, so if you put it against a bad climate I would vote for it. I prefer much colder winters.

Everyone here saying that it's boring (which it is) is exactly why the majority of normal people like it. It's inoffensive and bland. Same thing with San Diego.

Sydney is good. Solid B for a comfortable climate that isn't dry. More seasonal variation would make it better but it's already good enough as it is.
However, San Diego is different from Sydney. It's a rather mediocre semi-arid climate with even lower seasonal variation.

If you asked the average person in the USA what their favorite climate was, San Diego is probably the most common answer. Also lots of Florida or Hawaii.

Penroids. Personally I find Penroids to be extremely offensive.
