Two cities are in this battle with one in China and one in the United States. They share a few similarities. They are both very important cities with major centers of technology, have high costs of living, and have a lot of Cantonese people, history, and culture. However, climate is anything but similar. Which one do you prefer in terms of climate? I'll go with Shenzhen. It's more interesting. Summers are a bit too much but still better than San Francisco's crummers. San Francisco has better winters though. C+ vs C. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shenzhen#Climateen.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Francisco#ClimateNote: Please choose fairly. Pollution and other non-climatic factors should not be considered.

Shenzhen. SF has the superior precipitation/sunshine, but those temperatures are incredibly anemic.

SF, would struggle to sleep at night in Shenzhen and it gets heat spikes from time to time.

San Francisco. Colder in winter, more pleasant in summer. I guess Shenzhen isn't even good at thunderstorms.

San Fran.
Rather the devil you know (crummers) than the devil you don't (boiling monsoon). Also, really handy sunshine which should make it feel warmer than it looks.

Shenzhen has basically the same climate as HK, and HK is pretty great. Couldn't deal with SF's shitty summers.

San Francisco, easily. Shenzen is way too hot in summer, especially with the high humidity. SF is comfortable all year.

San Francisco for not being humid, stable, rainy garbage half the year and for actually getting a chance at cold.

Shenzhen all the way; it isn't even a contest. San Francisco's climate is abhorrent. Shenzhen at least has warm temperatures for one thing.

San Francisco for not being a sweat fest for months on end

They both suck. Shenzhen has 6 decent months (October thru March, ie when it is not warm and wet) compared to 7 (September thru March, ie when it is not cold as fuck in late spring and summer) in SF, so San Francisco wins.
