So if I had to live in a climate with cold winters this is the climate I would want. I reduced precipitation in winter so there's less snow. I think it's the right amount of snow to make the climate interesting but also easy to live in. Winter lows are stable to prevent temperatures from going out of control. Shoulder seasons are warm compared to winter and summer temperatures. Summers are basically my dream climate's summers with very minor adjustments to smooth things out. Overall it's similar to Philadelphia and St. Louis. I'd give it a B. Far better than any real-world climate with at least one month averaging below freezing. How would you rate it?

C+, too warm in summer and winter, especially July and August. Precipitation amounts are good and so are rainy days and sunshine. Snow is pitiful for a continental climate, and large snow events are very rare. Consistent cold without snow is boring. I'd prefer this climate if the daily mean was the average high, and the mean minimum was the average low (78/60 to 32/11). That's a B+ climate. If the average low was the high, and the record low was the low (69/52 to 23/-4) I would rate that climate a C-.

Massive meh, slightly lower C- than NykΓΆping.
Single-digit nonsense in winter and summers a bit too hot with too much rain.

Think a B or so, good transitions seasons and winters but summers may be too hot and humid at times, concerned about humid 95/75 days, way better than nykΓΆping though lmao, sept is rubbish there. It's also kinda boring and could use more snowstorms and precip in winter. Don;t mind a bit more winter variability as well

Normally the highest a continental climate can get is a D+ but for this one time, I'd have to give this a C- for the rapid spring warmup, ample rain and great sunshine hours.
