Kiandra Chalet 19391939 was the most continental year on record at Kiandra Chalet, NSW. Unfortunately, there were no absolute records available before 1957 at this particular site, but considering that Wagga Kooringal managed a staggering 47.2° C, 35°-36° C in January would not have been out of the question for Kiandra; the record low could've surpassed –15° C, too. Unlike January 2019 around here, the heat actually lasted into Failbruary as well...instead of dying in the arse! I'll award it an A, closely straddling A+; summer too cool, autumn too wet...but that August is beyond epic!

Goddamn that is a nice climate. If the winters weren't so snowy/wet I'd downgrade it but the snow must be very impressive! I will give this an A- as winter should be colder. December is significantly colder compared to January and February.

D. Too wet year round, diurnal range is too high, and those winter averages (especially when combined with the precipitation) are just nasty. Not a fan.

D+/C- summer is too cool and slow to begin, but looks like it could get some nice days. Transitions also lean towards the chilly side. Probably too much winter rain and snow as well. Still significantly better than candle's picks !
