Kiandra Chalet 1939
1939 was the most continental year on record at Kiandra Chalet, NSW. Unfortunately, there were no absolute records available before 1957 at this particular site, but considering that Wagga Kooringal managed a staggering 47.2° C, 35°-36° C in January would not have been out of the question for Kiandra; the record low could've surpassed –15° C, too. Unlike January 2019 around here, the heat actually lasted into Failbruary as well...instead of dying in the arse!
I'll award it an A, closely straddling A+; summer too cool, autumn too wet...but that August is beyond epic!
