Well, you can always adjust the unit and you have to be quite slow-witted to think it rains the same amount every day, the same applies to daily sunshine. Probably over the top for Wikipedia, but imho the best would be to give precipitation also as the amount per 30.4 days each month. I still fail to see what information you’re getting. It’s not a measure of how heavy the average rainfall is, which is think is a useful statistic. I also just don’t see the use because the adjusted precipitation isn’t what’s actually being recorded.

Neenah is near Cheeshead in Appleton. This box is somehow very wet and continental at the same time, with tiny diurnals. The source is "NASA Earth Observations Data Set Index". I deleted it.

Yeah there are plenty of bullshit boxes and charts like those for Wisconsin locations, many of them including unrealistically large or small diurnal ranges, winters that are way too cold, etc. The one for Kaukauna citing the same source is a good example but not as egregious as others I've seen.

Both of those boxes were added by the same poster in June 2020 (Epiphyllumlover) who took the information from the "ceb" language version of the page. And that page was created by a bot in 2017 (Lsjbot).

Germantown, Maryland's wiki page has this abomination of a weatherbox. It's supposedly data from just one year, but it would be incorrect for that, and also very far off the averages of the place anyway.

It doesn't look that bad actually. I'm guessing that the daily means are actually the average lows, and the average lows are the record lows. If that were true, that would make this climobox make much more sense.

Maybe it's because WMO mixed up, and used record highs and lows as average highs and lows respectively.

' ToyStatistics ' It looks like he's fucked with multiple other NSW locations too by his edit history. I don't quite know what his intentions are, but I don't like it one bit . Thankfully it looks like many of them have been reverted.

Full contribution historyI'm not convinced it's the one on here though - different people on different sites can happen to share the same username by nothing other than coincidence. Case in point: if you see another "Cheesehead" or "Cheesehead92" elsewhere on the Internet, it's more than likely not me.

I mean, ToyStatistics is a very rare and random username. It's not a common phrase or name, like Spider-man92.

Yeah, "ToyStatistics" is such a common username, like for example "Alex". It could be anyone!!!! Not.
What the hell does ToyStatistics even mean?
Just own your mistakes and carry on.

Ok then, it was me. I was just testing out my editing skills in NSW climate tables, filling in all information that was avaliable on the climate site. But, I was not happy that all my edits were reverted by other editors, just because I prefered having cliate tables with a lot of information. Therefore, I no longer edit on Wikipedia.

Okay cool, you're all clear now 👍 Pro Tip: In the future, use official climate data sources, like BOM as opposed to third-party sources like (In)accuweather, TimeAndData, climate-data.org, etc..

Life hack: don't lie. If you are caught on a lie, own it. Anything else will just make everything worse. Liars tend to get caught if they aren't really good, and most liars aren't.
