Height Maps converted to terrain

I'm putting this here because the general subforum is too cluttered as it is.

I have imported height map data of various regions of the world into the Unreal 4 Engine for better visualisation. 

This particular screenshot is from north-central China where pancake-flat sub-sea level elevations abruptly meet mountainous terrain. Very strange landscape there.

Go to tangrams.github.io/heightmapper to get height maps. UE4 is a bit of a pain to set up but it's a pretty powerful toolset.
