September technically isn't over in Western PA for another 7.5 hours, but I will be at the Steelers Game tonight so I'm posting this now with the caveat of potentially adding precip or slightly changing a daily high/low - although it looks unlikely.

Average temperature: 12,3°C (+0,8°C) Record high: 26,5°C Record low: -3,4°C Precipitation: 85 mm (+32%) Sunshine: 179 h (+21%)
I can't believe it. Despite the extended cold wave it still ended up warmer than average, 11th year in a row. It also felt super cloudy but ended up sunnier than average. What a strange month.

What a shit month. Highs were -0.6'C compared to 91-18 average and -1.1'C compared to 02-18, and lows were -1.2'C and 1.3'C respectively, and 5.2'C is the third coldest value since 1991. It's the coldest September since 2008. Rainfall was 167% of average, though sunshine was still average at 104% compared to 02-18.

September was a fantastic month in Saskatoon, with most of the month being quite a bit above average. It felt like a slightly cooler continuation of (an admittedly mild) August rather than a real fall month, aside from a few days in the middle and at the end. The lows in particular were quite a bit above average, with the first three and a half weeks of the month having an average low warmer than August. This was also our 5th month this year with a record high above 30C. This was the stormiest September I've experienced, with several major thunderstorms throughout the month including one after the equinox, which I had never seen before. Precipitation total was slightly above average and precipitation days well above average, though most of those days had very low amounts so it didn't feel like a rainy month at all. Sunshine stats will be out in a few days and I think it'll probably be around average. We got a serious cold snap with a bunch of snow at the very end of the month which dragged the average temperatures down a bit, but overall it was by far the nicest month of the year relative to average. I doubt we'll top that in Oct/Nov/Dec. We also managed to avoid dropping below freezing despite more than 24 hours of snow and a couple of forecasted lows well below freezing, so that was pretty cool. Stats: Average high: 18.5C (normal: 18.3C) Average low: 6.1C (normal: 4.5C) Highest high: 31.2C (Sept 16th) Highest low: 12.3C (Sept 17th) Lowest high: 1.5C (Sept 30th) Lowest low: 0.1C (Sept 28th) Precipitation: 39.5mm (normal: 35.4mm) Precipitation days: 17 (normal: 8.4)

Shittiest septmeber in terms of rain.. last year was 85/69 with 8 inches of rain, infinitely better than this crap! Mean Max Temp: 87.6 +5.5 anomaly Mean Min Temp: 66 + 4.3 anomaly ( ignore climate box it should be 66 not 66.1) Mean Temp: 76.8 + 4.9 anomaly Max Temp: 96 Min Temp: 50 Rainfall: Don't ask Rank: 5th warmest September on Record, last year was 4th Fun Fact: June was below average and this September was well above so it finished warmer than June!

Knowing your preferences for temps it is solely because of May and September and lack of snow. That and the drier than normal summer. For me its atrocious because of the cold march and lower summer rainfall.

This September was pretty crazy. It was the seventh warmest on record, but that was mostly in the lows. The average low was the fourth warmest on record, while the average high was only eighteenth warmest. The monthly highest temp of 95°F/35°C was below normal, as was the warmest low of 72°F/22°C. Yet the lowest low of 66°F was 9°F warmer than the previous record, and the greatest positive or negative deviation for highs or lows from second place for any month. The lowest high of 82°F/28°C was 4°F warmer than the previous record, which is unusual but less extreme. Also, there was only 29°F (16°C) of variation between the warmest and coldest temperatures of the month, 9°F less than the previous record. In fact, the monthly record high and low were set on the same day! The month was drier than normal without many thunderstorms, but we had a wet end to August, so we aren't at risk of drought yet.
