Bipolar month. First half warm and mild, 2nd half very cold. New record low and eariest freeze (21st) on record for the Artukainen station, and also most September rainy days on record. Earliest freeze in the 21st century, but the earliest to the next new normals will be on 12 September 1996. This is though for the airport station, so they aren't exactly compatible.
Record high: 24.6C (1st) Highest low: 15.1C (1st) Lowest high: 10.9C (23rd) Record low: -1.3C (23rd)
Deviations from normal (91-18):
High: -0.4C Mean: -0.3C Low: -0.3C Precipitation: 199%
Coolest September since 2008. Yes, with these kind of deviations. With the "Swedish style" 2002-2018 averages, the deviations would be -0.9C/-0.8C/-0.8C.
I'm too lazy and to do the rest of the boxes today.

September on African Rock was above average, though without any heatwaves. Rainfall came in around average here, though the airport was below average. All the rainfall was recorded during the first half of the month, which is the opposite of what usually happens. There were four thunderstorms recorded during the same period. Sunshine was a little below average. Stats from my PWS in St. Paul's Bay Average High: 29.5C (+0.9C) Average Low : 24.9C (+1.2C) Overall Mean: 27.2C (+1.0C) Highest Max: 31.5C (23rd) Lowest Min : 20.8C (11th) Lowest Max : 26.4C (10th) Highest Min: 27.3C (4th) Rainfall: 64.8mm (96%) Days with Rain: 8 Max Rain in Day: 17.3mm (5th) Days with Thunder: 4 Sunshine: 244.0hrs (87%) Max UV: 8.8 (1st) Min UV : 6.1 (29th)

Here is hatteras, it had an abysmal amount of rainfall june and july . I hate all the dryness this year in the summer. Note pretty much most of septembers data for hatteras is non existent so i just put the averages of the days that were recorded which is probably not all that far from what it really did avg in all honesty.

September 2019 SummarySlightly below average in temperatures, and slightly drier than average. Quite swingy and variable (typical of spring), with the coldest day not managing above 1.3° C; jointly, the warmest day enjoying a pleasant 17.8° C. Snowfall was particularly heavy on the 7th (~20-25 cm in 1 day), but the other 3 snowy days were of a much lighter nature.

The high deviation for each month in Värnes and Umeå for each month this year compared to 90-17: Jan: -1.9/-2.4 Feb: +1.8/+2.1 Mar: -0.5/+0.1 Apr: +4.0/+3.1 May: -0.6/-0.6 Jun: +2.3/2.0 Jul: +1.2/-0.1 Aug: +1.2/-0.2 Sep: -0.3/-0.3 Average: 0.8/0.4 But what about lows then? Maybe Trondheim just had a higher diurnal range this year relatively speaking? Nah m8, it's even worse here. Jan: -0.5/-5.1 Feb: +1.3/-0.4 Mar: -0.8/-0.5 Apr: +0.6/+0.1 May: -0.5/+0.1 Jun: +1.1/+0.8 Jul: +0.4/-1.7 Aug: +0.2/+0.3 Sep: -0.6/-1.4 Average: +0.1/-0.9 Compared to average, Trondheim has been 0.4'C warmer in terms of highs and Umeå, and 1.0'C warmer in terms of lows, making a 0.7'C warmer mean this year compared to average. Whereas this has been an above average year in Trondheim with +0.8/+0.1/+0.5 Max/min/mean deviations, it's been below average in Umeå with +0.4/-0.9/-0.3 deviations. So if anyone wonders why I'm a bit pissed at Norway, now you know.

What a shit month. Highs were -0.6'C compared to 91-18 average and -1.1'C compared to 02-18, and lows were -1.2'C and 1.3'C respectively, and 5.2'C is the third coldest value since 1991. It's the coldest September since 2008. Rainfall was 167% of average, though sunshine was still average at 104% compared to 02-18. *vomits internally*

Most of the rain days had very little rain and most of the days that did have significant amounts were from thunderstorms. For the most part it didn't feel like a particularly rainy or gloomy month at all.

The thermometer must be broken, it's stuck on 93/67! The low temps in September were insanely consistent. This month looks like a tropical climate in the dry season. Almost the same every single day, with very consistent nights.

September was warm and wet, 5F above normal with twice the average rainfall. Summer was extended a few extra weeks this year.
The absolute minimum was 52F/11C, a new record for Milwaukee. And the cold morning was on the 5th, after that it did not drop below 55F/13C. The first few days were cool, then the rest of the month was warm and felt like an extended August. Lots of rain, but not a lot of rainy days. Most of the rain came from two storms.
The average dew point was 60F/16C which was the same as last month. Also Milwaukee managed a 95F/35C heat index on the 11th which was warmer than June or August. With a cool June and warm September, it looks like Milwaukee has large summer lag.
Madison was warm and wet too. 48F is very mild for Madison, but 1870 had a record low of only 54F, so it's tied for the 2nd mildest ever. Madison's highest heat index was only 89F/32C, but it happened on the 30th when it should be much cooler than that. Madison was 4F cooler than Milwaukee, it cools down faster in the fall there.
