As we all know Giorbanguly is our master complainer... from now on when someone whines about the weather, specifically weather that is to be expected in a location, it shall be known as "Gioring". "oh that aj sure keeps gioring about how dry it is in tucson, doesnt he know its a desert?"
Anyhow gior has moved to seoul, how long till he begins gioring about his new places weather? I say November 15th... oh he will gior hard when its a 60f day in december back in nyc while 32/14 and dumping snow in seoul.

Great thread! I'm curious what the poll says, and what the actual result is.

When I stop complaining about Seattle weather (aka when Seattle's weather is significantly warmer than normal), or March 1, whichever comes earlier.
I hope it's earlier than March 1.

Giorbanguly will give it a honeymoon rest until 19 November. That's when the Siberian High will start to take its toll on him.

As far as I know, he has not started. So only the "After Jan 1" poster has a chance at winning now.

Lol I was online for some of that. I still don't count it, because it's not related to weather. All he wants is Starbucks, ok?

After a 5-month break in Gioring, the rarefied Summer Special
Seoul has gotten 0.7 hours of sun so far this August though the first week. Not 7 hours. 0.7. Zero point seven. 7/10. At this rate Seoulacuse will get an astonishing 3 hours of ensoleillement in August
In comparison Seoulapunji has already seen 10.8 inches of precipitation, a number which will only climb up as the forecast has non-stop pluie and lluvia until August 14th 😡😡😡

Just don’t get how you can go eight days in the summer recording not even one hour of sun. It’s unbelievable

Summary of this August
- 85% relative humidity - 24.4C average lows - 26.6 inches of rain - 72.8 ensoleillements - BONUS: deadly floods
Absolutely shambolic. Can’t think of a single redeeming factor from this past month. Sunshine is less than HALF of its normal August amount, with almost double the rain. This summer has featured the second rainiest period in history (after 2011) as well as the longest lasting monsoon season on record. It’s very very very rare that I gior about a summer, but this is well deserved
