Or even frost? It's been a mild October in the Northeast, and with the lack of any sustained cool, dry air masses still hasn't gone below 40°F at Boston Logan Airport. And the most rainy days (>0.01") for October on record. Yea, the airport is on the water and has some UHI, but the whole region has been free of any real cold this October and couldn't have been that much colder. Halloween night is forecast to have a low of 60°F, November 1st post-cold front, 39°F; so no point in polling sub-40°F; if not the 1st, a day or two later. This Boston meteo thinks a freeze gotta happen a week later
hasn't hurt Boston foliage; peaking right now

Jesus fucking christ it's so warm in the east.
I'll go out on a limb and say later than 20th of November, but it could very well be before that. Hard to predict to be honest.

I'll say Nov 5 - 10, (though closer to the 10th) as it looks like we'll get a good shot of cold air late next week.
