November 2019 ended up being slightly above average, despite a very cold start to the month. The first half featured significantly below average temperatures, with most of the second half having above average temperatures except in the last few days. Precipitation totals were pretty much bang-on average, and I think sunshine will likely end up around average as well (though will have to wait a few days for those stats to arrive). Average high: -1.1C (normal: -1.2C) Average low: -9.9C (normal: -10.7C) Mean temperature: -5.5C (normal: -6C) Highest high: 11.0C (Nov 23rd) Highest low: -0.9C (Nov 18th) Lowest high: -12.3C (Nov 10th) Lowest low: -22.6C (Nov 11th) Precipitation total: 13.1mm (normal: 13.0mm) Precipitation days: 13 (normal: 8.0)

The extreme cold in Saskatoon never ceases to amaze me.
But still they managed (barely) for September going without a freeze, while Turku didn't.

Jajaja Malta (St Paul) maded more lluvia than Portland. 27.92" vs 22.28". And YVR has only had 28.18". That is ridiculous! I thought Malta would never outscore Portland so thoroughly. I doubt Portland even sees enough precip in December to break 27.92".

It's weird that the June average temp was warmer than the highest May temp.

Wow the jump in temps from May to June there is crazy. It's weird that the June average temp was warmer than the highest May temp. Yeah we suffer greatly from seasonal lag here but May was well below average & much wetter too, followed by a well above average June.

And here's SMHI's summary for the month. Below average temps in the north and above average in the south, with precipitation and cloudiness above far above average across the country except north of Umeรฅ where precipitation was average to below average. Nikkaluokta had an ice month! That can't happen very often in November in Sweden!

Late this month for no good reason. November started very cold, continuing the unusual wintry weather at the end of October. Some daily records were broken. It was a memorable two weeks, extremely early for cold and snow. On the 12th, it was colder than a normal mid-January day (19/9F -7/-13C in Milwaukee, 17/4F -8/-16C in Madison)
After that, nothing exciting happened, and it was extremely boring weather. There was some cold rain, a few mild days in the 50s, no snow, and nothing below 29F/-2C. The month was slightly dry, Madison was colder as usual. Same pattern as Milwaukee, but it got more cold rain at the end so it was wetter than normal. It managed a -6F/-21C windchill on the 4th, when it was 4F/-16C with a light wind.
