Povember 2019 CrummaryWell below average in both maxima and minima (thankfully saved by the heatwave later in the month!), whereas right on average regarding precipitation. Snowfall far above average, falling on 3 days, and down to ~800-900 m AMSL on the 9th (snow fell and settled to the streets of Jindabyne [930 m] and Batlow [780 m]). Prodigiously variable this month, with the coldest day failing to surpass 4.9° C by maxima; the warmest day, 31.3° C.

Boring but not rainy which was nice. Lots of mild days in the beginning of the month have skewed the average high a bit warm.

Here there are the quick averages for: Grenoble Susa (close to my village in Italy) This month I was actually in both places for more or less the same time, so it worth it to make a combined plot: I was in Grenoble from the 1st to the 8th, in Susa from the 9th to the 24th and again in Grenoble from the 25th to the 30th. Total rain amount in my month (in approximation): 270.5 mm, with 23 rainy days (>=0.2 mm, in any case only one of those day was below 1 mm). Averages temps 5.2/10.9°C. Still have to check the deviation from the average, but at least for the rain that's definitively a positive anomaly in particular for Susa (still to check how much relevant it was).

Move back down to subtropical Portland and experience some warmffffffffff

Average temperature: 3,4°C (+2,0°C) Record high: 12,5°C Record low: -9,9°C Precipitation: 54 mm (-15%) Sunshine: 23 h (-30%)
Warmer than normal - because of course it was -, slightly dry and much cloudier than normal. The middle ten days were 4,6°C warmer than normal, the warmest since 1960. This is how you make the worst month of the year even worse.
