Begrudgingly Vinh because I loathe humid continental trash.
P.S. "Erie" in my language means "my cock". 🙄

I speak Assyrian Aramaic, which is similar to Hebrew and Mesopotamian Arabic. What about you? I assumed you were a Kurd or Persian judging from your first name. Erie in Iraqi Arabic also means the possessive affix "my cock" ("e'rr" for the noun "cock"). Btw, Arabic uses a pharyngeal or a throat-produced 'e sound. We do not. We simply use the 'eh' sound, as heard in "air". "Cock" on its own (as a noun) is just "era". Interestingly, Finnish also uses these possessive affixes as Arabic and Assyrian do. I'm not sure if other Arabic dialects (like Egyptian or Levantine) say "er" for cock.

The word is “erva” which has a Modern Hebrew meaning of “nakedness” and is a biblical euphemism for “cock”. The more common words for “cock” in Modern Hebrew are “zayin” and “zubr”, the latter from Arabic. And as for the climate battle, Vinh wins barely. It sucks but Erie is too cold and way too snowy to win.

Not to derail this thread, there is "ashek" (meaning in love or infatuation), which is found in Arabic, Assyrian, Kurdish, Turkish, Persian and other surrounding languages (borrowed, word is originally Semitic). In my language, we have a word for testicles/balls: Ishkateh (from Akkadian "ishek"). Apparently, the word "ashek" (in love) is derived from the Akkadian word that means "testicles".

Vinh
The one that's actually subtropical (by a reasonable, non-drunk-Russian standard) beats the cold continental crappy one any day.

Erie - moderate seasonality and decent precipitation.
Vinh's winters are weird but look comfortable.

Erie. Vinh's summers are even hotter than tropical climates. So sad.

Erie I guess for being sunnier; though it is definitely not subtropical!
