Brrr Yes, and I also checked Linköping 1991-2016 for 28 February last year and found an average high of 2.4°C (and that's inland), so that's a 8-10°C avg high deviation for that shift between the months... Actually I'd estimate Nyköping to have an average high 1991-2016 for 28 February of around 2.7°C, it usually marks the beginning of spring actually. But then again there are those years (2005, 2006, 2013 and 2018) that "go wrong" and bring the average down significantly. I'd say 5°C and sun is not uncommon at all in a normal year.

Simce 2002, the average high on Feb 28 has been 1.9'C for Norrköping. For Feb 29 it's 5.7'C lmao. 25 and 24 have 2.3'C and 2.1'C highs and seem to be closer to a "smoothed" average.

Doesn't surprise me considering how cold 2005, 2006 and 2013 early spring seasons were. On a contrast, I always recall there being snow on my birthday growing up in Norrtälje but some crazy melt during my birthday, like in 1998, 1999, 2000, and me skiing on the wet snow. So I think the late tip of February of the 90's were a bit warmer, even though the February's in general were slightly colder then.

If the forecast holds, the 43 (6 C) on the 1st will be the warmest temp in the first 16 days of Marchuary.
Every March since 1970, 48 years ago, has seen a higher temperature in the first 16 days.
On average 1 in 2.5 Marches reach 70 (21 C). However it’s happened just 2 out of the last 11 Marchuaries.

Right now no qualms with the climate, but this is a placeholder until March/April when the weather is gonna be driving me up the walls I predicted that I would be bitching about the weather in March/April all the way back in October. I must be Nostradamus!

Fucking pathetic boring ass weather here the past two days, and the forecast looks yawn-worthy as well. South Florida: Where boring fuck weather prevails.
No highs above 83 F or lows below 65 F in the forecast. Whoa man hold up, I'm gonna have to hold on to my seat from so much fucking excitement.

2018 so far: December, January, February At least that's the closest to it; our diurnals and temps shift so greatly it's hard to duplicate months in the wrong order. April will definitely be warmer than a normal March, it's just the nature of the western side of a continent, I've never experienced it differently

April 1986 and 1989 were both colder than an average March here!

well, the weather here has been abysmal the last 2 weeks, and probably will continue to be so the next 2 weeks. 1C in diurnal range and fog. doesn't get any more boring than this.
