The weather forecast keeps to stay on the not-too-cold and sunny side Anyway, right now we are having foehn wind, and the weather forecast never catch the right temps when this wind it's involved. If the wind remains there until tomorrow, that could be one of the warmest Xmas in my memory. ^ temps chart for the closest weather station during the last few days, we are already above the high in the forecast for today of about 3°C.

Looks very pleasant though far warmer than I would like. Not really rare just that days like these only record 4-5 hours of sunshine due to the low angle which you’ll see when the data comes out. It’s been like this all day and yesterday too but still feels chilly, however better than the rain fest we’ve had recently

Hasn't been past 66F here this afternoon. Not as warm as forecast today with an overcast sky. Seems similar to last year's Christmas.

Christmas Eve ended up being 39/28 and partly cloudy, Christmas was 48/24 and sunny.
No white Christmas but it was the best possible Christmas weather other than snow.

Wow. That’s gotta be vanishingly rare in London this time of year. Looks very pleasant though far warmer than I would like. both times I've visited London in winter I got a few days like that; hard to make an accurate impression from a couple short visits but didn't feel extremely rare

Will get in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on New Year's Day. Fairly typical weather there: 42°F and sunny. Was there last year and it was in the 50s, maybe 60°F can't remember

Looks very pleasant though far warmer than I would like. both times I've visited London in winter I got a few days like that; hard to make an accurate impression from a couple short visits but didn't feel extremely rare www.meteociel.fr/climatologie/villes.php?code=3772&mois=12&annee=2019As you can see here we ended up getting 5 hours of sun but the sky was like that all day, so it seems we lost about 3 hours of sunshine.. so it seems that in winter months we lose about 37% legitimate sunshine on those straight clear days not being recorded. I wonder if anyone elsewhere has similar things happening with their sunshine recorders?

^Yup
Must be the smoke and haze though covering the sun's intensity. But the BOM does have a propensity for overstating temperatures.

Not winter weather but autumn weather in my place. In the place where I am right now, the temperatures will be of course completely different.
