Almería for me for the more sun and milder temperatures. Will be quite curious to see how this one goes, since Rio has a lot more thunderstorms.

As much as I dislike tropical climates I will go with Rio for having more storms, more rain, and in general more interesting weather.

Tough choice. Rio has excellent record highs but is too rainy/cloudy. I will go with Almería for being sunnier, and having dry heat in summer. Both climates get B grades though.

Rio. By the way the Almeria weather station has only been operating since 1968, so not sure how the extremes can be from 1932. Seems your buddy has been playing on Wikipedia again jajajaja.

Almeria easily. Rio is just a cloudier Miami

Feel Almería is too boring, think I definitely prefer Rio's warm season as I would require AC in either of the 2 warm seasons, but Almería's cool season as I would prefer for it to cool down a bit more. Maybe Rio, narrowly. I would probably give both climates a C.

Almeria. Río is extremely boring except the occasional heatwave. Almeria is also much drier, way more comfortable and actually gets a cool season

Almeria. Btw Rio is actually 1.0~1.5°C warmer than the table.

Almeria. I don't like dry climates, but the cool season outweighs the rainfall of Rio.
