Climates from VA Beach to Melbourne Florida, all Cfa climate that are zone 8B to zone 10 based on 81-10 data. Range from 37 north to 28 north. All these climates feature a April-May dry period followed by a very sharp summer precip maximum. Most hurricane prone area sin order are: Hatteras, Morehead City, Wilmington, Charleston, Melb/VA Beach, Jax/Daytona, Brunswick, Savannah Ordered from furthest north furthest south. Pick your favorite. Mine is .... Brunswick Georgia.

hard choice; went with Morehead City for best combination of the highest number of not too chilly or not hot months

VA Beach is the best as it has the coolest winters, probably a low B-, NC still seems pretty decent for the most part, but south of Charleston and Savannah the summers become quite long and tedious, so I would view the Floridian climates as D+'s

Wait, is this directed towards me?  As for the actual climate battle, I'd go with Savannah for having the best chance of 100°F+ days, but these are all A- or B-grade climates. |

In the absence of Jacksonville Beach, it's definitely Morehead City for the good balance between winters and summers.

Virginia Beach. Has something of a winter and isn't as unpleasant in summer as most of the others.

The one that is the coolest. Virginia Beach. Too warm in summer for me, but the rest of the year is decent. Not the cold continental climate I want but decent.

I couldn't really decipher them much as they're all pretty similar. But maybe Charleston for being the sunniest and having cooler lows overall.
