Yeah. Good for Reed. A local favorite there in Augusta, too.

The ending of the masters was a bit anticlimactic but the rest of the final round was pretty exciting.
Itβs pretty much the only time I watch golf but it is fun to watch.

He probably really regrets that now. Got to respect the game (and the stage!) more than that.

In my opinion, Phil Mickelson definitely should have been disqualified for that, and (IMO) the correct interpretation of the rules would call for disqualification as well. The USGA's ruling is absurd because he clearly demonstrated INTENT to strike a moving ball. He even admitted as much in the interview after his round. If it's true that he really thought about doing that for a while, as he said, then it makes him look a lot worse, not better. I could have understood his frustration at his abysmal play and that that frustration may have caused him to impulsively do what he did (which still would have warranted disqualification). If he had come out and said that, I could respect it, but I don't respect the position he took on it.

I like the nice, crowded leaderboard at the British Open

Funny how you guys call it the British Open, where as here it's just "The Open", as if it's the only one that counts lol. Same with Wimbledon, it's called THE Championships

Same with Wimbledon, it's called THE Championships At the same time, it's still just "the US Open" for us. That's not called "the Open" for us. But that makes sense, because the British Open is the older tournament.

Molinari is still in position. He's playing a solid round so far, too. I'd certainly like to see Molinari win.
Spieth still with a good chance too

Hope Tiger doesn't do it tbh, the sport will all become about him again. Unhealthy how reliant golf is upon the guy.
