making a thread for my 2019 weatherboxes. I'm using the NCDC, a lot of stations are incomplete for December so waiting on them. Hopefully will be updated within a week. No snow from these stations in Tucson Mountain park, but not up in the mountains, northwest of the city valley below Mt. Washington at about 2000 feet Amherst and NYC snow threshold is actually 1 cm, need to double check

That's some pitiful snowfall for the winter months in NYC.

Thanks nei! Interesting looking at Alta - more classical subarctic than Tromsø, still managed to avoid overnight freeze in Sep, unlike Røros. Alta has warmer summer highs than Tromsø, and only 365 mm precip. Locals there claim it has the best climate in Finnmark province by far, being much more sheltered than the windy Finnmark coast and with warmer summers, and still not as bone chilling cold winters as inland like Karasjok.
Trondheim is Trondheim -Voll (127 m).

Lol Bergen 12.2C avg high in May. Yeah, nei has used Bergen Ap Flesland, which is less sheltered than the city, being west of the coastal mountains sheltering Bergen city.
Bergen-Florida in the city had avg high 14.2'C in May - and avg high 15.2'C in April. Bergen-Florida recorded a 33.4'C high in July, a new all-time high for Bergen. July had avg high 20.6C in the city there.
Looking at the larger region around Bergen... Lærdal (innermost Sognefjord): avg high 13.9'C in April and 23'C in July.
Ytterøyane lighthouse on an island in the open sea: avg high 10.7'C in April and 17'C in warmest month (Aug).

Alta also has a decent amount of trees (but not too many). Very nice climate!

Alta also has a decent amount of trees (but not too many). Very nice climate! Yes, it’s forested, but with modest precipitation so often a little space between the trees. Pine trees there can get pretty big (and old), wide trunks.
