Very fanciful to compare yourself to Rome, you may find similar patterns, but let's not pretend they're even remotely similar climates to live in. This is really just like saying that living in Brisbane is not a remotely similar climate experience to living in Orlando - they have a 2C annual difference while Motueka and Rome have 2.4C annual difference, and are broadly similar in seasonal differences/ similarities, precip patterns, sun angle/hours. Pretty sure you already responded to that comment 6 days ago, not sure why you've got to try and drag it out in this manner, especially given that this thread is Glasgow vs Orlando. I yield Joe, Rome and Motueka are cearly similar in some respects. Happy?

I yield Joe, Rome and Motueka are cearly similar in some respects. Happy? Because there was nothing but weak counter arguments and bad comparisons on here and the shoutbox. I guess I'm am happy a bit - good to see that reason can eventually prevail over emotion. I'm glad you're happy, that makes me happy.

I'm glad you're happy, that makes me happy. This happiness you feel now, will be fleeting, but the understanding you have gained, will last you a lifetime. My work is not yet done though - there are others (they know who they are) who still dwell in the darkness of ignorance. do you think boston is closer to london than london is to motueka because of annual avg high lol

do you think boston is closer to london than london is to motueka because of annual avg high lol Do you think it's just about average annual highs? from your previous statements you regard it highly so thats why i posed the question to you that you conveniently haven't answered

One is associated with sun and fun, the other is associated with grey and depression. Have your pick I'm trying to test how far cold lovers will go... How far? Very far. Glasgow wins easily. Orlando is too hot for about 6 months, even though the winters are excellent. Glasgow is terrible but I would take cloudy cold rain winters over Orlando summers. Glasgow summer is bad too, but tolerable. Of the large cities in Northern Europe, Glasgow is one of the worst.
