What are your coldest/warmest daily averages?
Thought this would be a good topic considering today (and yesterday) are my coldest statistical days of the year.
COLDEST: January 10th - 21st
Averages 34F / 18F (1.1C / -7.8C)
Range of highs of 34F ( January 5th - January 21st) Range of lows of 18F (January 10th - February 11th)
WARMEST: July 19th - 28th
Averages 82F / 59F (27.8C / 15.0C)
Range of highs of 82F (July 9th - July 28th) Range of lows of 59F (July 19th - August 2nd)

I've got no such data for my regionβdue to the lazy BoM refusing to establish any representative station(s) around here whatsoeverβbut I can provide a rough estimate for 1990-2019:
Warmest = ~ 32Β° C (usually in January)
Coldest = ~ β1Β° C (usually in July)
Both the coldest and warmest days occur a few times each year, too; multiple days around 32Β° C or β1Β° C each year; not just a one-off occasion. For e.g. I get many ~ 31.5Β° C days in summer, and many ~ β0.5Β° C days in winter.

Warmest= 108Β°F/86Β°F from 7/8 to 7/16

Hottest: 88/66 F (31.1/18.9 C) July 9 - 31 Coldest: 42/23 F (5.6/-5.0) January 10 - 22
So I guess technically, January 16th is the height of winter while July 20th is the height of summer (midway point of the coldest/warmest averages).
"Midway" averages (which are roughly 65/44 for here) would be April 15-16 and October 20-21. Those days don't average 65/44, but they average 67/42 which is the same mean.

Warmest: 95/73F (35/23C) July 20-Aug 4
Coldest: 49/29F (9.5/-1.5C) Dec 22-Jan 15
Looking at these averages makes me realize how pitifully warm my climate is.

Warmest days occur between January 5-20 (after that it gets too humid and moist for hot dry days to occur).
Coldest days (or mornings) are likely to occur between June 25-July 15 (foehn winds become more common as July ends and days would become more warmer & springlike by August)
