Could be interesting. My vote is for Tblisi since Dearborn will struggle to maintain a proper snowpack regardless and Tblisi have better shoulder seasons. Neither summer is too pleasant, but rather bearable. In January, having 25 cm of snow for 52 mm of precipitation with those temps is a bit of a letdown, which is rather common for SE Michigan and SW Ontario.

Tbilisi, it has milder winters and is drier.
Dearborn is a horror show from Nov-Mar.

I choose Tbilisi for having hotter summers and being drier.

Dearborn for sure, it's a nearly perfect climate by my standards. Tbilisi is quite nice too, but a bit hot in the summer for my liking.

Dearborn. It's nearly identical to my climate except summers are warmer and precip is uniformly less (both rain and snow)

Dearborn, and it wasn't a hard choice. Better in pretty much every way.

Dearborn. Cooler summers and a chance of a good winter. Tblisi is too cold to have a mild winter, but not cold enough to get regular snow and cold.

That should be lighter rainfall, not drier - you've already indicated that you are happy to take increased dampness more mud etc, if it means lighter rainfall. Tblisi has 50 fewer precipitation days. That’s a huge difference. So yes it is drier and that’s why I like it.

Joe, I like you, but I don't understand why you always go after people like this when they've preferred a climate over Motueka in the past. You gotta let shit go.

Joe, I like you, but I don't understand why you always go after people like this when they've preferred a climate over Motueka in the past. You gotta let shit go. When I see notions expressed that I don't believe reflect reality (particularly in regards to my own climate), I feel it is okay to debate any points those notions are based upon. Sure, but you seem to mostly do this in a weird attempt to defend your climate. It's OK for people not to prefer your climate, I don't get why you get so bent out of shape like this. Like I said, I do like you as a poster overall, but I'll always find it silly when people feel the need to defend their climate to the teeth like this. Your climate is not gonna be everyone's cup of tea - and that's okay.

Dearborn - has more of everything except heat, and it still has plenty of that anyway.
