Most anthems are terrible with outdated, even evil ideas. Take the French anthem. Oh, so beautiful... until you read the text - let's water French hills with "impure" German blood. Or the Russian/Soviet anthem. The main idea of which "you all are worthless nothing, glory to Stalin". And some people like that?
The 2nd stanza of our anthem says "our land is poor, and will remain as so". Oudated, we are not poor!
