But yeah, pretty fucking quickly sounds about right.

^ The heavy rainfall has helped melt it as well....snow will likely last until the first couple of days of June but will be gone after. Trees are forming big buds and flowers right now despite the still present snow cover lol, been a really bad flood season for the residents of Winter Haven 10:15 PM Temp: 74 F (23 C) Conditions: Mostly Cloudy and Breezy Wind: W at 20 mph G 31 mph Dew Point: 72 F (22 C) Snow Depth: 50.0" (127 cm) Seasonal snowfall to date: 720.3" (1830 cm) Rainfall to date: 50.12" (1273 mm) Was a very stormy afternoon, with very severe storms causing extremely heavy rainfall, high winds, very frequent lightning, hail, an F1 tornado and lots of flooding. 4.12" (105 mm) of rain recorded and a peak wind gust of 135 mph (228 kph) recorded during the F1 tornado. Significant tree damage occurred during the storm.

Lol that melting snow must be gushing down drains, mountains, streams, etc. Yeah, all streams, small rivers, lakes, ponds, etc are pretty swollen at the moment. The good thing is the snow is melting quickly, once it's all gone, with the strong June sun and high evapotranspiration rates it'll be gone in no time. Also Winter Haven is elevated, has great drainage systems and knows how to deal with floods so it's not so bad as it seems lol

Lol that melting snow must be gushing down drains, mountains, streams, etc. Alaskans know nothing of spring "break-up" compared to the residents of Winterhaven.

May 2018 Summary in Eastmann, South New Florida May was drier than average, but also had 18 days with thunder heard which is above average. Just seemed to miss the heaviest downpours. May was duller than average by a small percentage.
