7/20: 123/66; Extremely hot in the late morning and early afternoon, before a very strong cold front came through the area bringing intense thunderstorms with it. 10.13" (258 mm) of rain drenched the area with intense lightning and a small funnel cloud, which brought a peak wind gust of 115 mph (185 kph).

Very strong convection in the afternoon lead to some very strong storms, dropping 5.91" (150 mm) of rain in two hours, with a peak wind gust of 93 mph (150 kph).

This summer has been insane in the sense of extreme heavy rainfall rates, thunderstorms have been exceptionally strong this summer leading to unusually high rainfall amounts.

This July likely be cooler than June, not hit 100 and have just 5 days over 90.
