I would have expected it to be cold back then lol The 1940s had some warm summers. 1940, 1947 and 1949 were all good. The 50s-80s were the coldest decades of the 20th century. Didn't the 40s have some very cold winters though?

How about first 30 C of the year? I predict it to be June 11th.
My prediction is London is gonna miss 35 C by a hair, have their max temp at 34.8 C on July 14th.

I think it'll be 31c in the 2nd week of June. There will be a hot spell in early June with 5 or 6 days of 30c temps, but it won't reach 30c again until June 2021. July will have a couple of 29c days; August won't see anything higher than 26c.

The extremely late first 20c in 1983 (31st May) was followed up by the 3rd hottest July on record, and a warm August. April 2007 was the 2nd warmest on record, and was followed up by one of the coldest, wettest and cloudiest summers on record. The first 20c in 2007 also occurred on 5th April. 1983 had a cold spring and the second latest first 90F day on record in the OKC metro (on June 30). But summer was cooler than normal.

5th April is the date. The temperature was 20.4c at 2pm, so might see 21-22c here today. Any takers for the next temp threshold? 25c: 1 May 26.7c/80f: 15 May 30c: 10 June 32.2c/90f: 5 August 35c: 2022
Hottest day of this summer will be 33.9c on 7 August.
Out by 5 days, 27.8c the high today.
