Just want to take a general survey on whether the arrival of Spring has been:
1) Early 2) Normal 3) Late
Here it has been a few weeks late. I would say, 2-3 weeks late.

Early, we didn't really have a winter in the first place.

Super late here, consistently well below average except for a handful of days so far. Thankfully there may be some light at the end of the tunnel, the next four days are below freezing but then it looks like temperatures are supposed to go up to normal.

Last week it felt like spring, this week still feels like the mud season here. So I'll go with normal?

Early. We didn't have a SMHI-style (FMI-style) meteorological winter at all.

Early, we didn't really have a winter in the first place. Pretty much this for Northern VA as well. Pretty much November/early December-like temps for five months straight (Nov - Mar), never had any type of mid-winter cold. Lowest temp of the whole winter was 15 F (-9.4 C) and there was 7 cm of snow all winter. Pathetic. Spring definitely came early this year. Cherries were already in full bloom on March 10th - about three weeks earlier than normal. When I left Northern VA on March 18th, there were already several trees fully leafed out, which is way earlier than normal.

The official arrival of spring here still hasn't happened, but personally I felt like spring arrived in mid-March which is a couple weeks early. We didn't really have any winter-spring this year though.

Early. While February was cool, it's been warm more often than not since the start of March. The trees have generally been a week or two ahead of schedule as well.

Early. Although late March was cool/cold with light frost, February had several 60Β°F+ days, which are more typical for March.

A warm March followed by what's looking like a cool April. Normal for now.
