- When we're bombarded by heavy rain and floods whilst the South Coast doesn't get more than 10mm of rain - How parts of southwestern France and north-western Spain (at latitudes around 38-40'N) are sunnier than Sydney (33'S). - How Perth is extremely sunny and calm - When it's raining heavily and no hail falls (if you're going to be stormy and rainy, at least give us some nice hail for the sake of excitement?) - The strange microclimate in Sydney that pertains to rainfall. Not sure how Sydney's annual average rainfall is 1100mm+ and inland area is around 850mm. What makes the CBD so wet compared to other areas on the southern NSW coast?

-Whenever it’s warmer at my latitude west of the Appalachians -Any snow, even a flurry, outside of the December and January period -When March or April is abnormally cold, as in 2018 -When February is the coldest/snowiest month like this year -Freezing temperatures in any season other than meteorological winter -Summer months getting over 4 inches of rain

When skies outside get dark and you're excited because a storm is potentially headed your way, you look on the radar and all the storms are fucking off in the other direction.

- Any time Gayrope, Canucks or other high-latitude locations well north of you get endless record hot temps. - Any time a rediculous heatwave is forecast by models and NWS a week out and then gets downgraded to mundane, near average shit. - Fantastical heat or cold (the latter in winter for cold snaps cold enough to be interesting) forecasts by the NWS 2-3 days out that end up like 5°F cooler or warmer - I have to repeat this one again, since this is my #1 biggest trigger. Go and fucken kill yaself - When forecast "severe thunderstorms" develop over the Sandhills and herp off towards NE and SE NC and bring gay ass light rain here. - Cold air damning bullshit, where it can be 10-20°F warmer a few tens of miles south of here in the right setup and/or bring cold subarctic overcast BS with Hurricane Mcghee-forceskin northeasterly winds even into April and May. - Winterpeg in Omega blocking setups in summer. - Any below average month from April to October; northeasterlies and cold fronts inclusive. They're disgusting and unwelcome when it's supposed to be the warmer (more interesting) half of the year.

You should seriously reconsider calling yourself a heat wanker if you cheer on extreme cold blasts in winter. Come on Benny, you’re better than this. Let’s enjoy the cold snaps not panning out.

You should seriously reconsider calling yourself a heat wanker if you cheer on extreme cold blasts in winter. Come on Benny, you’re better than this. Let’s enjoy the cold snaps not panning out. I don't care about midwinter nomolies nearly as much as in spring/summer, it's bound to feel cold majority of the time. Of course I root for warmer than normal all year round, but I don't mind the odd cold snap once in a while when the time of year befits it, by "cold enough to be interesting" I mean "if it's cold enough to be a novelty", if it lasts for a day or two. I'd be willing to sacrifice some winter warmth for a hotter spring/summer, especially considering that vile cold rain isn't very common here.

Southeasterlies bringing sideways drizzle and several overcast days in summer and winter in a row. Northeasterlies bringing weak showers lasting a day; instead of a brief downpour giving way to sunshine. Lack of summer southwesterlies to give a few cool, sunny days in summer. Extensive spring seasonal lag- December is not supposed to be a spring month! The relatively low diurnals, mainly in summer. STRATOCRAPULUS, rather than cumulonimbus no cirrus

Overcast days without rain
Warmer and wetter than average winters. This years winter was the worst Ive experienced.
Nighttime lows above 18C
When Buenos Aires gets colder temperatures than here.
Temperatures over 20C in winter, especially if cloudy.
Summer extending to march.

Rain that's not forecast until about 6 hours before it happens.
If only I had £1 for every Met Orifice forecast that shows sunny spells or something on a day for ages only for it to change it to the actual rain we're getting within a few hours of said rain starting. These bastards can't forecast their next piss/shit.

Quite common to reach 14~16°C yet never got warmer than 16.1°C in January. (Paris)

When the radar shows it's raining everywhere except for the rainshadow that is Melbourne
When it drizzles for long periods of time only for 0.2mm to be recorded
The CBD unable to drop below freezing even though it comes within a degree or two most years

• cold fronts and southerlies • seabreezes along cold oceans like southern Australia • storms flattening out into gay light rain • storms on the radar moving away • cold nights in crummer / high diurnals • 30C at 9pm, 14C at 7am • fake heat, i.e. forecast is 34C and it is 22C at midday • everywhere else at the same latitude being warmer • NSW • Perf Derf
