So, we actually start that period next year, 2021.
This thread is for having a little dialoque about climate averages (temps, precipitation, sun etc) or weather features in the near future. You choose the location you want.
Please post weatherboxes, or just descriptions of climates/features of climates that you find interesting or even amusing.
Typical questions for dialoque might be: Is that likely or realistic? Any interesting consequences of that?
Here is a take on Drammen in that period, well should be Drammen at least, seems I got a letter too much in there.
A nice (?) and realistic climate future for Drammen, or maybe some of that is highly unlikely? Compared to 61-90 averages, strongest warming is in April (+2.7C for mean) and least in June and October (+1.7C).

Comparing the highs to the 2005-2014 stats on the wiki, March will see a 1'C decrease, and april only a 0.5'C increase, September 0.1'C, October 0.3'C and November another decrease. Yet July gets a 1.7'C increase?

Yet July gets a 1.7'C increase? Well I used the official averages from met.no for 1961-90, and also looked at Oslo 1981-2010, as Drammen is not that unlike but has stronger diurnals and slightly colder winter and warmer summer. Then calculated possible changes. 2005-2014 is a rather short period, and I haven't checked the accuracy of the data at wiki.
However, I also think that the increases are probably a bit too modest in the shoulder seasons, as those are warming a lot (except Oct and to some degree May). Future climate is of course hard to predict, and this assumes that the subtropical High tends to move further north in Europe in summer to give more warm summers (a bit like 2018, and look at summers in France & Germany lately), and also assumes that the winter warming will not get as strong as some models suggest.
