These are having totally opposite characteristics from what average people imagine as a prototype of climate classification. What's your choice and rating grade?

Good battle. I'd take East Lake ("Continental") climate since it looks to have snowier winters and stormier summers. That stability though in winter kills me . Hmmmmmm....on second thought, Plateau City has much better temps and extremes. I'll vote for Plateau City but it wasn't easy at all.

Plateau City looks great. East lake is pretty shitty too, easy battle.

This is actually kind of a tough one... I think I'll go with East Lake for better temperatures and sunshine overall. Not a fan of the wet monotonous winters at all but I feel like I'd enjoy the rest of the year more than Plateau City. Though it is fairly close.

East Lake for more precipitation, although I'd like the landscape in the other climate more, probably.

Plateau City (Cfb)
This was an easy battle, too. Those washed-out muggy summers of East Lake can get fucked.
What this comparison ultimately shows, is just how flawed the KΓΆppen system really is.

Tough one. As Alex and Morningrise, I'm torn. Not a find of the dry summers of Plateau City, not a fan either of the mind-numbingly stable winters of East Lake. I guess I'll go for the latter, as apart from winter it's very nice.

I'd go oceanic because it looks more continental.

by just temperatures Plateau City looks like somewhere in the American West⦠on a Plateau. sorta looks like Yosemite Valley but with colder winters wrcc.dri.edu/cgi-bin/cliMAIN.pl?ca9855East Lake looks a bit like an East Asian climate. Rainfall patterns don't match either real climate well. Hard choice, I'd lean towards Plateau City but it's too dry and the growing season too short but East Lake has chilly daytime highs for too long.

I'll go with Plateau City for having hotter summer afternoons and more sunshine.
