One of my favorite aspects of weather is tailoring climates to my exact liking. Often when doing so, I end up finding rather strange climates. The find I'm the most proud of to this day is Gap in France. Today however I found a new interesting climate. Take a look at Vanadzor. If you ever wanted to find the best climate at 4'C annual mean, at least according to my preferences, it would be hard to do better than this. Sunshine, I would presume, would be around 2000h give or take a hundred. And just look at those diurnals! 1.5/-18 in January!!! This thread is meant to post and discuss interesting climates.

Still one of the weirdest to me, aided by the name: Shangri-La
-10C/7C diurnal in January, and a 10C/19C in July. I know this is common with some monsoon climates but it looks super weird with such a high altitude place. And the fact that 130,000 people live here.

There's this monsoonal climate in India that has this strange lag where the winters have the higher temperature than the summers, making it look like a pseudo Mediterranean climate. But I forgot its frickin name! I am trying to find it! Anyway, let's start with Uyuni Bolivia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UyuniCRAZY DIURNAL RANGES...14C days, -9C at nights
