Sochi is probably the most well-known Russian city with subtropical climate, but one important thing about it is that it is also a very large city with high amount of microclimates. One of them is this, Sochi Olympic Park: It lacks precipitation data. There is data about Sochi City overall but it may be different in Olympic Park so take this precip data for this exact place with a grain of salt. Sorry it has all stuff written in Russian.. If someone don't understand, well.. Абсолютный максимум - Record high Средний максимум - Average high Средняя температура - Daily mean Средний минимум - Average low Абсолютный минимум - Record low Still it is easy to notice how warm most temperatures are even when compared to most other parts of Sochi (though at least some places further southeast may be even warmer, but they completely lack data). I'd say it can be considered one of the best examples of Russian subtropical climates. And ye, I was there, and there's a whole lot of palm trees - Phoenix, Washingtonia, Butia, Chamaerops, Trachycarpus, Jubaea.. I'd personally rate this place a B, because I'm more of a "temperate climate type of person" and I prefer climate to be cooler, but still - subtropics are nice, and Sochi Olympic Park climate is one of the best Cfas I ever saw)

E+; winters are fine (assuming all that rain falls with below-average weather instead of above-average weather, and likewise gets some snowfall), but summers are downright disgraceful with all that gay warm rain, humidity, and idiotic stability.

Shit. Summers are too warm and sticky, and way too dry. Winters look like depressing cold washed out rubbish.

Welcome permianartist! I rate it a C+, temperatures are comfortable but not ideal, and there is a little too much rainfall.

I rate it a C; temperatures are generally inoffensive, but summers are cooler than ideal with too much rainfall. Also, welcome to this forum!

C. Too warm and wet for me. Even with the short recording period, a record low above freezing in January is not acceptable.

C. Pretty decent for a subtropical climate but not enough cold potential in the winter and a bit on the hot side in the summer and early fall.
