As the thread title says. Not which month has seen the biggest diurnal range or when the largest diurnal of the year usually is but this is about on average, ie which month has the largest difference between the average high and the average low.
Here itβs May. The average diurnal is 21.2 f (11.8 c). April to September all have pretty similar ranges with the fall and winter months noticeably less with December having the smallest.

Methinks poll results are interesting only if both hemispheres align on the idea that Jan = midwinter month and Jul = midsummer month (or the contrary). As SH voters are a minority, I propose that they reverse their votes as if they were in the NH. I see this as a consequence of the Great Aussie Withdrawal of '19.

Lowest: December 12.7F/7.0C Highest: May 18.4F/10.2C. Almost tied with June 18.2F/10.2C -- 18.2F is closer to 10.1C, but if you round the high and low to the nearest 0.1C then subtract you get 10.2

Hard to pinpoint one month, but high diurnal ranges usually occur between late July and mid September here.

August with 11.3c, closely followed by July with 11.2c. Lowest diurnal is December with 5.6c. Typical dry/high diurnal summer and wet/low diurnal winter pattern here, if we assume that more sunshine correlates to higher diurnals For most wet and humid summer locations, it seems like the highest diurnals are in the spring. For warmer subtropical and tropical climates with dry winters, it could be in the winter.AJ fits that. His highest diurnal is January.
