Neither, Toronto is bitterly cold compared to Monaco, while Orlando is a tropical paradise compared to it. Similar to Yalta in Ukraine, now occupied by Russia.

Monaco is more similar to Orlando, although Monaco and Orlando are of course not super similar.

Neither, Toronto is bitterly cold compared to Monaco, while Orlando is a tropical paradise compared to it. Similar to Yalta in Ukraine, now occupied by Russia. Yalta's a fair bit chillier in winter than Monaco, probably closer overall to the north-Adriatic coast of italy (places like Venice & Rimini) which aren't shielded by the Appenines to the same extent as Monaco is. While Monaco's summer is clearly closer to Toronto (although with warmer nights), especially due to the marine moderation, it's winter is far milder (with a milder record low than Orlando's!), so the extent of plant species that could survive there (excluding the contstraint of summer dryness) is much closer to those that could survive in Orlando. 22.7 -16.4= 6.3 16.4-9.4 = 7 It appears that the annual mean of Monaco is in fact slightly closer to Orlando. Given the absence of meaningful cold, and with summers that are sufficiently warm, feel Monaco clearly is closer to Orlando overall.

Neither. It isn’t similar to either one. If you’re gonna make this thread at least pick climates that it has some resemblance of.

If you picked 2 climates that both had something in common with Monaco then it would actually be an interesting thread and still a debate. Now it’s just another dumb is climate x more like completely different climate y or completely different climate z thread.

But both of them have something in common with Monaco. Monaco's summers are more like Toronto but the winters are more like Orlando... Winter is nothing like Orlando, highs are like 15 f cooler. Summer temps are kinda similar to Toronto but that’s it...they have nothing in common. One is a continental climate and the other is a mild well Mediterranean climate, completely different weather patterns and influences.

The winter in Orlando does have more in common though because it doesn't really snow or freeze like it does in Toronto and they both grow a similar range of plants. Yes, they all belong to different climate categories but they all have some climate phenomena that overlap.

Rochester winters have more in common with Vostok than Dallol but that doesn’t mean they remotely resemble each other. I guess Toronto would be the obvious answer for this poll as in summer they would feel somewhat alike while Orlando and Monaco never have similar weather patterns. Still got to and Monaco are completely different climates which is why this is a dumb thread, yes they might have relatively similar weather for part of the year but they’re completely different climates with very different influences.
