This times 1 million! I can not stress how toxic and regressive the world of science has become . It’s thanks to the hyper political atmosphere surrounding science combined with the biasing affects of funding .

The killer asteroid (and all its effects) has long been the predominant hypothesis, and while it is a good one, it doesn't quite make 100% sense to me. I don't even know why they want this to be true...lmao. The agenda with AGW is plain to see but I don't see a reason for this other than they think it's "cool" and they can get all the accolades for "proving" it happened.

It's not really an agenda in the case of AGW, but more evidently it's the downright ignorance shown towards the raw, physically-measured temperature data from the past, as well as historical accounts; such as the fact that vineyards were commercially viable north of Hadrians Wall, attested to by the Romans—not only far northerly at 55° N, but also fairly elevated at around 200 m AMSL (where Haltwhistle, Northumberland now stands). Then there's the very reason Greenland was even given such a name by the Norsemen, not to mention the tree roots which lay within their once-green tombs.

Yeah Mörön , come and explain yourself! They didn't take into account ancient aliens murdering all those poor dinos.

So, once again a pointless thread made by you.

Righto, just realised this is another one of Candle's "Aliens on Earth" conspiracies.
I've removed my like from Candle's initial post.

Maybe you should just refrain of posting when you're drunk, because you're just embarrassing yourself?

Dude, I barely care what people think of me in real life. You think I'd care here? To answer srfoskey: They didn't necessarily do anything "wrong" but their research is still based on the assumption that a killer asteroid did indeed lead to this mass extinction. They could very likely be correct but in a lot of modern science, I've seen this kind of small-minded thinking. Disclaimer: I'm not disputing the Chicxulub crater is a result of an impact with a foreign body.

I've heard this before, and found out that it's not really true, but merely a deflection.
But anyway, you do as you please.
