Grytviken, fucken!
Not only does it have the best winters but it has the hottest record high in summer. All the others are absolutely horrible.

รle Amsterdam, maybe Gough, are the only semi-acceptable choices imo--- rest are subantarctic horrorshows

All of them get Fs from me, but I'll go with รle Amsterdam, and the other climates are Hell on Earthโข.

These are some of the worst climates in the world
Macquarie, Campbell, Auckland, Crozet, Prince Edward, and Gough islands are all suicidal nightmare climates that get an F- if Iโm being generous.
Grytivken is slightly โbetterโ since at least a lot of itโs precipitation is snow and itโs a bit more variable but itโs still an F.
That leaves Port-aux-francais and Amsterdam island as the only livable ones. Port-aux-francais gets points for being drier but the complete lack of warmth is too much so Iโll go with Amsterdam island which is still only an E- climate at best.

Grytviken, FUCKAN!
Extreme snowfall + most variable summers = win.

Also, you forgot to add Bird Island to the poll; located on the western (windward) side of South Georgia, being colder than Grytviken in every season with tremendous amounts of snowfall. Not that I (or anyone) would choose it, but still a good idea to add it.

All of them are horrific as shit. Amsterdam Island is easily the most palatable of that lot.

รle Amsterdam: Nice. Cool, cloudy, and rainy. Just as I like it. Not very cold. I would like thunderstorms and snow. I will give it a 9 out of 10. Port-aux-Franรงais: Chilly, but variability makes up for it. Also cloudy and rainy. 7.5. Heard/McDonald Islands: Very cold, but again variable. Also rainy and snowy. 4.5. Macquarie Island: Chilly and incredibly wet. A little variable for winter lows. 3. Campbell Island: Showery. Very cold winters but doable summers. Also no sun basically. 5. Auckland Islands: Ditto for รle Amsterdam, but with cooler winters. 9. Grytviken: Chilly and drier, but incredibly variable and not-so-sunny weather. 4. Gough Island: More continental than รle Amsterdam. 9.5. Prince Edward Islands: Nice summers, cold winters, decently wet and snow at winter. Chilly and variable. Wet and not-so-sunny as well. 4.5. Crozet Islands: Chilly, decently wet, cloudy, and variable. 5.
Fireworks are going off (for some reason). I will go outside soon.

รle Amsterdam is warmest by far and is drier and sunnier than most of these. I pick that one.
Worst is Crozet or Prince Edward Island. Constant cold and rain, but not snowy. Crozet only has 600 hours of sun, but PEI has a lot more rainy days. If wind is much stronger on one island that could change my opinion. Grytviken and Bird Island get snowy winters at least, but the summer is too cold for me to pick it over รle Amsterdam.

There is also Bouvet Island, but it has no precipitation data. Assuming it gets decent precipitation, it looks very snowy.

Edit: Also here is the box for Bird Island. Looks incredibly snowy.
