Which city is more subtropical? Srinagar, India Srinagar climateor Dhaka, Bangladesh? Dhaka climateDhaka for sure, no subtropical place should have an average January low of 29°F. But Köppen was probably drunk as fuck when he decided what fit the criteria for a "humid subtropical" climate. I have to post links because my images keep going missing.

Righto, here's the climate box for Srinagar… …Ummm, how is this even a contest? Dhaka is FAR more subtropical than Srinagar, and very clearly so. Srinagar's winters are bloody cold.

Answered Dhaka since Srinagar's winters are relatively close to the 0/-3c boundary while Dhaka is still quite close to being subtropical, with just above 18c in winter, so the latter is closer to the ~12c point for winter which in my view typifies the "normatively" subtropical climate Srinagar's low in January is 29f/-2c, not 21f. If you had put en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamabad#Climate instead, would view it as closer to a "normatively" subtropical climate than Dhaka.

Srinagar by far. Dhaka is tropical, nothing subtropical about it.

Will say Srinagar even though I don't really consider a subtropical climate either. Dhaka is purely tropical with coconuts and jackfruit.

Dhaka is tropical but I'd say it's probably closer to bordering a subtropical climate than Srinagar is.
