Rost, at 67 parallel north with above-zero winters.Jinan, at 36 parallel north with below-zero winters. For me, both are quite bad. Neither winter is likely to get a lot of cold and snow, and summers are too hot in Jinan and too cold in Rost for my liking. Precipitation amounts are too low in both as well, and both patterns are OK. Sunshine.. well, Jinan is quite too sunny, and Rost is above the polar circle so it gets at least some polar day and polar night, and for my liking these 2 patterns are pretty equal.. So, in my opinion, both are equal C-.

Jinan, easily. Rost is the stuff of nightmares β never warm, presumably extremely cloudy, and is very slushy in winter.

RΓΈst, very easily
Much better precip pattern, FAR snowier with no extreme cold, and actually receives frontal activty.
Jinan is a highly offensive climate in just about every way possible.

Jinan by far. Rost is surprisingly dry thoughβnot bad for itβs climate type.

Easiest climate battle ever: Jinan.

These are close because I don't like the dry winters of Jinan. But if I had to pick one, Jinan wins for having more months with comfortable temperatures. RΓΈst is very scenic which helps but not enough to offset the climate. Cfc is not a good climate type. Can it keep a snowpack in winter, or does the mild weather and rain wash it away?
Last winter would not have kept snow around. Barely below freezing
Wind speed: 12m/s is 26mph and 43kph

RΓΈst for virtually pest-free and much hygienic environment. Cool year-round climates are easy to adapt once getting familiarize with it.

Jinan. The reasons are self explanatory.

RΓΈst for pretty much all the reasons already mentioned above. As for the objection that it can't hold a snowpack its not like Jinan can either.

Jinan easily. Only two months are colder, the rest of the year is much warmer. Pretty decent climate actually - nice long summer, dry and sunny.

Yikes. Eh Rost, but both suck.
