I don't care what other people have, unless by some miracle somewhere outside the SE is having the warmest summer weather, or if Paris is 10-15c warmer than me.

No! They can go to hell, especially if they normally don't get better or even worse weather. I'm not really envious of places that are on average much better than me anyway.

Yes, for the most part. Some people, no.

No, it makes me want to cry inside when I see a forecast of 35C for Paris and 25C and mixed sun and cloud here. So often the heat just stops at the channel 100 miles south east of here ๐ก

Yes. I would be happy if Renmark sees 9/3ยฐC overcast skies throughout most of winter. Being exceptionally generous

Depends. I'm happy for rozenn when he first hits 30C in spring, but not when he's getting two weeks on end of 30C weather while I get jack shit. Meanwhile I'm happy for Cadeau if he gets a break from the heat.

Depends really, I suppose I'd feel happy for somebody who was getting really unusual or interesting weather if that was their thing.
Realistically there isn't much point in me seeing other people's weather through the prism of my own climate, I know I live at 54 latitude with a massive ocean just to the west so I can't expect that much decent weather.
Got to be honest though, I do get pissed off when somewhere like Trondheim gets long stretches of settled weather in the summer when that's quite a lot further north than me and right by the ocean, ditto when places that are warm for like 8 months of the year that shouldn't have any business getting decent snowfall get more snow than I do.

It depends on the type of weather and how common it is. If I haven't seen snow in a long time and someone else gets a nice snowfall, I'll be jealous. But I get lots of thunderstorms and warm summer weather, so I'm happy when others get those things.

Depends on who it is. If it's someone genuinely suffering from SAD, then yes. If it's some entitled fuck, then I only feel happy when they are constantly uncomfortable .
