Wuhan, China Dushanbe, TajikistanSan Antonio, USASan Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, ArgentinaKoppen's "continental" is "anything with at least some warmth in summer and a subzero winter", even if these climates are heavily ocean-moderated (such as, for example, in several parts of Western Norway or Kurile Islands). However, on the other hands, subtropical (with winter mean above zero) climates with high continentality are, in Koppen classification, NOT continental. In this climate battle there are 4 such climates - hot-summer and *relatively* cold-winter subtropics. As for me, I vote for San Fernando. It has at least some bearable summers and a generally good precip pattern, but it's still too dry and hot-summer, so C-.

I'll go with Catamarca as well, but for different reasons: for having the greatest heat potential, and the most interesting (variable).

Another climate battle where Dushanbe smacks everyone else out of the park

I think I go with Wuhan despite the abhorrent summer lows.

Dushanbe, as summers are actually dry.
Basically Central Valley CA but with actually good winters. Wonder how many snow days Dushanbe gets.
Dushanbe > San Antonio > San Fernando de Catamarca > Wuhan

Dushanbe - Coolest summer means with low humidity. Relatively cold winters and comfortable shoulder seasons. Worst part is the lack of summer rain. San Fernando - Second coolest summer mean and a better rainfall pattern, but it stays hot for much longer than Dushnabe, annual mean 6C warmer. San Antonio - hot but less humid than Wuhan and much more sunny. Variable winters with some cool days and some warm ones. Wuhan - Very humid and gloomy a lot of the time. The cold half of the year is decent but summer is bad.
Good idea for a poll. These climates get overlooked often since they are generally too hot for cold weather fans but too cold for warm weather fans.

All are pretty decent, but I'll go with the Argentinian one. Reliably warm-to-hot highs year-round, but still has some decent seasonality. Looks similar to inland Los Angeles, albeit with warmer summer nights.

Tough call between San Antonio and San Fernando. It really could be down to which ever one gets the most storms. I'm guessing San Antonio so I'll go with it.

I'll go with Dushanbe for the coolest summer nights and having decent winter/spring rain

Revising my vote to San Antonio for more storms and warmer lows. Both it and San Fernando are all around fantastic climates, though.

San Antonio. Best combination of hot summers and adequate rainfall. Catamarca has better temperatures but it is too arid.

San Fernando easily. Equally dry as fuck summers as San Antonio but with better temps year round.

I chose Wuhan for the ideal annual mean temp and it gets enough rain
