Since the 12th, thereβs been really nothing to comment on. Itβs been very pleasant and dry with highs in the 80s and lows in the 40s/50s.
The median high this month is 84 f yet the average is only 78 f due to the strong early month cold snap. Would be interesting to make median climate boxes, I feel thatβs more accurate many times.

Main front is yet to arrive here, but South Australia bore the brunt of it: Snow in Peterborough, SA (540 m AMSL; 33.0Β° S) Impressive for late Sep at that altitude and latitude!

Warmed up to 88 (31 c) today after a chilly 48 (9 c) low.
This was a new daily record high, the 2nd this month and 6th since Iβve been here.

It's been snowing lightly all throughout the afternoon here (temp mostly 0Β°β1Β° C), and maxed at just under 4Β° C around noon. Interested to see if it gets heavier later on.

The fall foliage seems ahead of normal here; some trees are already looking surprisingly red, which I don't usually see until mid-October or so. But this month has been running 4.9F (2.7C) below normal, so that's probably why.

Got up to 80F here as of 1 PM. It hasn't reached 80F since Sunday. Not long ago we were lucky to even have a high below 90F. Persistent cloud cover kept daytime temps down this week.
Forecast to get up to 87F tomorrow before another cold front arrives Monday, which will bring a chance of t-storms. 70's/50's and sunny skies with low humidity afterward! Hopefully we get below 50F at some point next week.

Smoke came back today, it was very hazy to the north and the northern half of the mountains were completely hidden from view. It smelled strongly of smoke despite the haze not being especially thick.
This kept the temps down so it only reached 84 (29 c).
A cold front tomorrow will lead to more seasonable 60s/70s for the foreseeable future.
