The peak of the warmth was to the east of me it seems but it was still nearly 15C all last night, which is impressive in itself.
The main story of the last two days is the rain, November is a wet month but we've had half our average monthly rainfall already.

Warm and sunny today with a huge diurnal. The high reached 74 (23 c) after a 28 (-2 c) low.
Today was the warmest it’s been since October 14th and the warmest November temp I’ve experienced since 2015.

I'm sure there were lots of monthly records broken in Alberta and Saskatchewan today.
The hot spots seem to have been Bassano and Drumheller at 25.9 °C both of which are monthly records.
In fact, I'm not sure there has ever been a temperature above 25 °C in Alberta in November previously recorded.

They have similar geography to us and are much farther north and colder but have records only a little cooler. Our November record high is 81 (27 c) for comparison. Today’s high of 74 (23 c) was apparently just 1 f off the daily record. That comes just a week after the coldest October high ever.

I'm happy to see all these November records broken in Europe. They always looked really pathetic compared to the other months.

Tonight had the first sub-40°F temperatures of the season here, by two weeks late or so. It was 36°F at midnight; there were a few patches of frost on grass blades, and it should warm up to the mid-60's of F by afternoon.

Oct: 28.8c Nov: 18.5c Dec: 16.4c
November's record high still underperforms massively.

Yep, and there might be more records again today although likely not to the same extent as yesterday. Too numerous to list, all the way from Onefour in the southeast to Jasper in the west, there were at least 25 new record high temperatures set yesterday in Alberta. The full list is here: weather.gc.ca/warnings/weathersummaries_e.html#AB

Falsterbo recorded a low of 12.9'C on Monday. I would expect that to be a national record. And while it's unclear how much rain Umeå recorded, Vännäs and Tavelsjö, both 25km inland, recorded 76.2mm and 78.4mm. November average is 70mm. There were multiple roads around the municipality that collapsed, with some cars falling down into flood water rivers as a result. And some houseowners got completely isolated because all roads leading from their house had collapsed.

haha I was just about to post about this^ It's hard to find video/pics though unless you are on twitter. And yes it is still snowing there. Hasn't stopped for a few days, which is pretty rare there. It has been cold too with temps hovering around -15C since late on the 31st. Gonna be a cold winter!

Today reached 78.2 f (25.7 c), which is a new daily record.
It also missed the monthly record high by only 3 f and is the t-4th warmest November temp ever.
So now we’ve gone from the 3rd coldest October temp to the 4th warmest November temp in just a week!
The morning low was 32 (0 c) for the 2nd straight 45+ f diurnal range.

We had a frost on the ground this morning even though the official low was 3.5C, which shows how stupid it was to put the Bingley weather station on a hillside five miles out of town when the valley where people actually live is well known for being a frost hollow.
I've measured -8C with a hand-held thermometer before when the official temp was -3C so we can get big differences, an unofficial site gave -16C in December 2010 as well when the official temp didn't go below -11C.
