F-. However, it could be worse if it was 10 F warmer and all that precipitation fell as rain instead of snow.

Look at those summer months with less than 10% sun!!
I would actually rather be based at Vostok for the summer than this place because at least there you'd see the sun out of your extra-thick reinforced windows. Actually, that gives me an idea for a thread...

It's hard to think how you could realistically make this worse. Even the Russian Arctic islands with much colder winters still have a lot more sun. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrangel_Island

I'm not 100% sure but I think this is officially the cloudiest climate in the world.

I'm not 100% sure but I think this is officially the cloudiest climate in the world. I have never seen any lower numbers than Orcada's - for places with no significant obstruction of daylight, at least.

An F------------------------- is an understatement for this climate.
Probably the single worst climate on Earth. I'd rather live in Vostok Station, since at least it has plenty of sunshine. I voted "rather be dead".

Eβ; too cold and dry. Grytviken is a thousand-fold superior to this polar desert island.
