B+
Very similar to Palermo, but with a longer dry season.

E-
Too dry in summer, mild winters.
Boring climate but it could be worse.

With lows of 21C it's probably rather humid and more so than Sydney.

With lows of 21C it's probably rather humid and more so than Sydney. Weatherspark shows that it is about the same or a bit less humid than Sydney, and the nearby stations aren't vastly different. It's possible that weatherspark is wrong, but having warmer lows does not necessarily mean that a place must be humid (although I agree there is a general correlation). For example, Chicago and San Diego have the same summer lows. Yes, nighttime temperatures often fail to approach the dew point in summer in Rome even though diurnal ranges aren't that large (Ciampino seems to be outside the UHI zone), the dew point depression can often be as great as 10-15°F on a summer morning.

I guess that's true because Baghdad has 25.5C lows in the summer, but that's because its highs around 44C, so it clearly has a high diurnal range, meaning it will likely be dry. And not to mention, Baghdad is rather inland and far away from any water bodies. Whereas Chania is on the Mediterranean sea, which is pretty muggy in the summer. But yeah, who knows - I don't take Weatherspark very seriously personally.

Quite good. There could stand to be more seasonality (both slightly colder winters and slightly warmer summers), and I don't like the near-complete lack of rainfall all summer, but overall I like it. B

Been to the city and its lovely. Climate wise B-, as with most other locations on the eastern med. Takes too long to heat up and rainfall too scant in summer.

The difference in mean temperatures between January and April is only 5.0'C, compared to 10.8'C between April and July, which means April would still probably feel rather wintry for Chania standards.

Too warm, but summer is less humid than expected based on the low temps. The cool months are decent, not great. C+.
