Well, here we have Cassiar in northern BC at 59N @1100m/3700' amsl in a sheltered mountain range, although most peaks aren't that elevated, ranging from 1500m to 2100m (5000' to 7000') amsl. The history here is quite interesting, which you can look up if you want. But it's an abandoned mining town where they mined asbestos. Besides the probable contamination from mining and the pretty bad climate, even by northern standards, I can see why no one lives here except those who don't want to be found (yes people live there). I'll give it a C+. Pretty damn wet for an inland Dfc climate!

E+; lethally frigid winters, but at least it gets adequate snowfall. Summers are far too cool and wet, and likely cloudy.

D.
November to February is great but the rest of the year is trash.
**It is a town with a pretty cool history though**

F. Beautiful place, but horrible climate. Summer average highs don't even get to room temperature! That's without mentioning the elephant in the room: those absurdly cold winters. Visiting the area would be cool, but I could never live there, due to the climate alone.

Good winters, good scenery, but where is summer? Too cold, almost meeting the tundra classification. Somehow May has a hotter record than June or July. D.
