Amazingly, we've had a staggering 83mm in Sheffield this month, it poured with rain torrentially last night, and we had a torrential downpour on 16th dropping 52mm of rain. Blimey. Drought is certainly over here.

I forgot I can use this thread for bitching about drought. Most of Oklahoma is in an extreme drought right now, and large swathes of Texas and Arkansas are in severe drought as well. Other than a few more scattered showers the next few days, we're not supposed to get much of anything for the next 10 days. I don't see much hope of significant rain anytime soon.

Still a lot or stations below 200 mm in the Med for 2022. Very dry year over there, even more so than in the rest of the country.

Here's a France-wide showing dates at which different '00 mm thresholds have been reached: driest in red, wettest in blue and quartiles in between. 2022 cas just reached 600 mm, which is 70 days behind the median.
