Friday, Cocktober 16th, a day which will live on in infamy. Why? See below and do the math...
A bit of background.... the forecast was for 27C originally, with thunderstorms added to it as we got closer to the date. So what happened? Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to thee one of the greatest fizzers in memory, with some gaybo BOM apologists. Enjoy.

I live in Northern England, which is veritably the homeland of convective fizzers. The various forecasters forecast god knows how many thunderstorms that we miss over here. We had 6 days with some thunder this year, pretty average. Obviously, many places just a few miles away got a lot more than us as usual. Not sure if I should consider this a complete fizzer or not, because at least there was thunder, BUT, large hail of nearly 2" in diameter missed my location by LESS than 2 damn miles, back on 26th June, according to Google Earth. I went out to the park to watch the storm front arriving, and got sideswiped by the storm; there was constant thunder coming from it, and a powerful gust of wind with some brief rain, but I hadn't realised there was severe hail falling so close, yet so far. TBH my overwhelming feeling was disappointment that it wasn't a direct hit, even if we didn't get the biggest hail.

Three years ago, they forecasted 50 F/10 C and partly sunny in late April. This is what happened instead:

Forecast low was 26C. Ended up being 20.7C. Fucks sake.
Especially as Mildura had 24C and Hay Gays 26C
Adelaide was originally forecast 40C, then it was downgraded to 38C, and what happened? Ended up being 33C because the penis mcghee southerlies came in 4 hours early
For the same reason Melbourne only reached 23C after a 28C forecast

Wednesday, Dickcember 16, 2020, is a day which will live on in infamy. One of the biggest forecast fails in recorded history. It's bad enough that Dickcember 2020 is a below average heap of decomposing shit-splattered baboon testicular pus, but no, the 5 days of crummer I was gifted by that little prepubescent Spanish slut La Nina had to be cut short.
Forecast:
Temps at midday. Unbelievable, 15C below forecast until the PM, and ofcourse the usual New South Wanker bullshit in full tilt as per fuck.
And the final highs for the day. Fucking 8C below forecast. So the gaylord southerly infestation began a day early, only because I just fucking love that fucking shit. And ofcourse, Dickcember 2020 needs to keep up appearances.
A key element of one of the grandest forecast failwhales in history. See that goddamn bank of cloud? Yeah. It's as if every male in the world concurrently sprogged all over my area. Sticky, stubborn, mould-breeding yellowing festering stain of unwashed sub-foreskin dick cheese cheerily erupted all over my area. 'preciate it Dickcember 2020.

Beercules you're not alone, as the East Coast keeps getting interesting rain and snow events time and time again, and we get nothing. This past Saturday we were lucky to get 2.5mm of precip as all the snow went south, and even right now there's stuff to the north and west but there's an impenetrable wall around the Green Bay-Appleton corridor.

It was supposed to hit -11C last Wednesday for a low. Only managed to reach -3C or -4C. Can't be bothered to check, but it was nowhere near -11C.

Weβre occasionally forecast lows of 20/21C during summer heatwaves but 99% of the time the actual low ends up being 17-19C. The temperature just plummets after like 9pm regardless of how hot the temperature was in the afternoon.
The heatwave in July 2019 is pretty much the only time a forecast low above 20C actually came to fruition.

Special shout out to the heavy snow forecast for London last week, which died in the ass and didn't even make it past Essex.

That forecast is now showing 17c! and just a few days back you had frozen ponds and this: Yes, the first time part of the Thames had frozen since 1963.
