Sunny and clear/mostly clear each day in Torquay, but temps mostly remained in the mid 20s. Dewpoints in the Kimberley coast. They did end up getting to 30C!!

At the moment there are quite big temperature contrasts for a small country. At 11:00 -18.3c in Narva at the easternmost point of the country and + 2.4c at the westernmost point in Vilsandi.

Jajajaja 26°C in cold African rock while there's 60 cm of snow on the ground in Madrid. must have been a really weird looking pattern to have such a contrast in a short distance There's a low in the western Med: southerlies to its east, northeasterlies to its west:

Saw this image of the situation in Europe: Look at the contrast there between Spain and Greece! 26'C right now in Benghazi, Libya. That's almost their monthly record high. Impressive!

@josecanyousee97 nei As Rozenn mentioned, this low has caused warm-air advection from the Sahara - Malta's record high seems to have been a result of 60°F 850 hPa temps + westerlies crossing the island have resulted in the warmest temps at the east coast?

More confidence that I'll get some snow accumulation. I'm now under a winter weather advisory. Winter weather advisories extend to the northern suburbs of Houston.

Is there a ULL over the purple section ? Why more accumulation there ? Yeah there is an ULL approaching. Here's a discussion from NWS Shreveport this morning.

The very precise way the Spanish are trying to rank the 2021 Madrid snowfall in context of the past events. The 1904 snowfall seems to have been brutal, and it happened in November (!).

Nice day today here with a rather big diurnal range (by our standards) morning low was 42 F (5.6 C) current temp is 68 F (20 C) heading up to 69 F (20.6 C).
I'm liking this winter's weather pattern, kinda swingy and interesting. Although I'd love to see some temps in the 30s at some point.

why are the general public like this Those ignorant idiots annoy me to no end. I'm not sure where exactly in Texas the guy lives in, but snow isn't that rare in central Texas, the epicenter of the winter storm.
